Once you decide you would like to go
ahead with Laser Vision Correction, Dr. Friedman will
evaluate your eyes to make sure you are a good candidate
for the procedure, and if so will consult with the
surgeon at the Laser Center and forward your results to
him. Your laser correction fee includes returning to Dr.
Friedman the day after you have your procedure and at
regular intervals afterward so that he may insure your
eye is healing properly and discuss your progress with
the surgeon.
We view patient education as an important component of
our work, so we strive to give you all the information
you need to make an informed decision about Laser Vision
Correction. We require patients to watch a video that
details the procedures, and suggest patients attend one
of the monthly seminars that our laser center offers.
Interested patients may also watch an actual procedure
being performed and speak with the patient immediately
afterwards. Please let us know if you are interested in
attending one. We are also happy to put you in touch
with patients who have undergone the procedure and are
willing to talk about their experience.
